Facebook Ad Restrictions – Here’s what you can do

Facebook Ad Restrictions

Why is your advertising account restricted by Facebook?

Loss of access to Facebook ads may be due to:

  1. The administrator’s personal account is blocked.
  2. The advertising account itself is prohibited.

The administrator’s personal account is blocked

Before blocking your ad account, Facebook will stop all ads until you resume access. If your personal account has been removed from the platform, your ad is still running. You can’t access your account to optimize new ads or suspend ads that you feel are underperforming.

What should you do?

  • Check that other team members have access to your business manager. All their accounts are also usually disabled.
  • The best way to solve this problem is to turn to Facebook Support during working hours, and then wait for the Facebook team to review and approve your application.

The advertising account itself is prohibited

Advertising account bans seem to be occurring more frequently, and there are few clear reasons behind them. One day everything will be fine, then the next day all your campaigns will be suspended. The worst part about an ad account blocking is that it happens without warning. When discussing the reasons for the ban on personal data, Facebook did not over describe it. Facebook will send you a general message informing you that “your ad account has been flagged for policy violations.”

What should you do?

  • Call on Facebook Support again and wait for a response.
  • Another way is to try a different account, preferably one that is older and has no business history.

Facebook Ad Restrictions

How do you prevent Facebook from restricting your advertising account?

Once the problem occurs, the only way to solve the problem is to turn to the advertising manager and support or create a new account, but there are other ways to prevent the ban.

  1. Ensure that your account is valid and high quality, not simply created yesterday.
  2. Content must comply with all policies and guidelines and be attractive to the target audience.
  3. Follow the basic rules of Facebook and don’t overdo marketing, which will lead to a successful advertising campaign.
